Thanks to the community’s support of the 2022 bond measure, Cornelius Elementary is undergoing a comprehensive renovation, aiming to provide a modern, safe, and dynamic learning environment for its students.

Lancaster Mobley played a key role in making this vision a reality. As the traffic engineering consultant for the project, our team was responsible for assessing and addressing the transportation impacts of the school’s expansion. We conducted a detailed analysis of traffic patterns around the school to ensure that the increased number of students, staff, and visitors would not negatively impact the surrounding neighborhood. Our work included designing a safe and efficient drop-off and pick-up system, improving pedestrian access, and coordinating with city officials to implement necessary traffic calming measures.

By working closely with the Forest Grove School District and the project’s design team, Lancaster Mobley helped create a safer, more accessible school environment. We’re proud to contribute to the success of the Cornelius Elementary School project and look forward to seeing the positive impact these improvements will have on the students and community for many years to come.
