As the rain moves in, we prepare for the coming season! Here are some of the projects we are most excited for this Fall:
Banks School District
Lancaster Mobley was selected as the on-call traffic consultant for the district’s 2024 Bond program. We will prepare a traffic study to help solve traffic flow and parking issues, and help coordinate the district’s current plan with a 30 year master plan. We will make an assessment of existing conditions, coordinate with the project architect and civil engineer on master plan design elements, parking, and traffic, and prepare a summary of recommended improvements.

Gervais School District
In 2024, voters in Gervais approved a $28 million bond measure, paving the way for critical upgrades and repairs across the school district. The funds will address facility needs at the High School, Middle School, and Elementary School, including construction of new classrooms, roof repairs, and safety and accessibility upgrades. Lancaster Mobley is honored to be selected to provide on-call traffic analysis to help bring the much needed improvements to reality. Our work will be to help address transportation considerations related to the district’s upgrades, including parking management, school bus usage and on-site accommodation, mitigating congestion around pick-up and drop-off operations, and on-site vehicle, bus, and pedestrian circulation.

Affordable Housing Parking Study
Lancaster Mobley is conducting a parking study of affordable housing land uses within Clark County and the Portland metro areas. The study will evaluate parking demand associated with affordable housing to determine a custom peak parking rate. Data collection and in-person observations will be conducted during peak demand periods to calculate peak parking demand generation based on the number of dwelling units at each development.
