Lancaster Mobley provided a range of services for this master-planned community in Happy Valley, Oregon. This included a detailed Transportation Impact Analysis to address the impacts of 600 new homes on Scouters Mountain. The land use approval process was complicated and our work included strategic project phasing, the design of street configurations, and traffic calming elements to minimize impacts to existing neighborhoods. Following land use approval, Lancaster Mobley was the primary designer of the new roundabout at the intersection of SE 152nd Avenue and Scouters Mountain Road. This design included rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs) at all pedestrian crossings within the roundabout.
