A new high school is proposed for development at the current location of the Rock Creek Middle School in Happy Valley, Oregon. The existing 1,100-student middle school will be remodeled and converted into a high school to support up to 1,500 students. As part of a Transportation Impact Study (TIS) for the proposed school conversion, Lancaster Mobley analyzed morning, afternoon, and evening peak hours for a number of intersections. Then Lancaster worked closely with Bora Architects and the rest of the project team during the schematic design phase on transportation-related issues such as parking, access, passenger vehicle pick-up and drop-off, and bus circulation. This included meetings with the project team as well as North Clackamas School District.
