At 5,000+ acres, Forest Park is the crown jewel of the Portland park system and one of the largest urban forests in the United States. This project will provide a unique point of entry to the park, sitting on the edge of a protected industrial neighborhood and an environmental conservation zone.
Lancaster Mobley previously investigated the transportation conditions, opportunities, and constraints for the proposed new entrance to Forest Park on NW St. Helens Road in Portland, Oregon. Building on our preliminary assessment and findings, we are currently working on striping plans, driveway design, and crosswalk studies for the site.
