The project goal was to encourage visitors and provide an educational and interpretive experiences by rebuilding and expanding the existing park, which included solving some parking and access issues. The team was sensitive to incorporating community values and seamlessly integrating the concept and transportation solutions keeping the stream and wetland restoration design in mind. Lancaster Mobley assisted the project team with site layout and design, including site access location and safety, on-site circulation and maneuverability, parking supply and demand, consideration of safety for pedestrians and bicycles, both off-site on the nearby public streets and on site.
