Lancaster Engineering was excited to be a sponsor of AAUW’s Tech Trek in Central Oregon this year. We provided food, beverages, and prizes for the women’s professional night which includes over 20 women in STEM careers and two hours of 60 girls getting to ask them questions. Melissa and Miranda from our Bend office attended the event and Miranda also hosted two workshops on traffic engineering of roundabouts.
Tech Trek is an annual summer camp that brings in 7th grade girls for a week and helps expose them to STEM. The event is hosted by AAUW and includes classes, workshops, field trips, and more!
