
Melissa is a Transportation Engineer working from our Bend office. She is a graduate of University of Portland and spent several years working for the United States Air Force as a civilian at various Air Force bases around the country. Melissa started at Lancaster Mobley in 2017 and works on a variety of projects in the Central Oregon area and throughout Oregon and Washington. She conducts transportation impact analyses, prepares traffic studies for Type B ASTR Short-Term Rentals in Portland, and manages additional projects related to transportation engineering.
Melissa’s favorite activities outside of work include Disney trips, being involved in her kids’ school and social activities, running, and The Great British Baking Show.

Representative Projects
Sisters Elementary School, Sisters, OR
Responsible for the traffic impact study required for a new elementary school located on the west side of Sisters. The project also involved coordination with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) in order to get approval for a new highway approach access to the school.
Woodlands Master Plan, Sisters, OR
Responsible for traffic impact studies related to the zone change and master plan for a mixed-use development in northwest Sisters. Project also included coordination with ODOT for a new pedestrian crossing on US-20.
JL Ward Master Plan, Bend, OR
Responsible for the complex analysis involved with the development of a large housing complex (approximately 800 units) in SE Bend.
Type B ASTR Short-Term Rentals, Portland, OR
Prepares Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Transportation Analysis reports, which are required for a Type B Short-Term rental permit in the City of Portland.
