Construction proceeded at pace this summer as the Brandis Estates project takes shape in Albany, OR, with many homes already active. Lancaster Mobley’s traffic engineering and planning efforts helped DOWL pave the way for that growth.

Early in the project, we prepared a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) to support the land use approval process for a 178-lot subdivision. That study included analysis of nearby intersections, evaluating safety and crash history, level of service / capacity assessments, and left-turn and signal warrant studies.

As development moved forward, we provided additional design work: street lighting design along Goldfish Farm Road, and intersection safety improvements including an RRFB at Goldfish Farm & Dogwood Ave to improve pedestrian crossings.

Over time, this layered work adds up: the TIS ensures the road network can absorb new traffic, lighting design makes streets safer and more inviting, and signal / crossing improvements help make walking more comfortable.

Another growing community, safer and more connected!
